The ContiTPU is premium quality, lightweight yet durable, and suitable for both road and off-road riders. The micrometrically thicker TPU deployed in seven sealed layers maximizes airtightness and durability. The tubes are uncolored to ensure the highest material quality and avoid air retention issues caused by surface imperfections related to dyeing.

Each ContiTPU tube undergoes post-production quality control. The valve shaft base is slightly tapered to improve rim fit and reduce unwanted movement, while the valve is internally threaded to allow the use of valve extenders or a replacement valve core.
